Clare speaking on the Climate Action Bill 2015. The Bill, which was due three years ago fails to address specific targets instead takes a generalised approach to allow the state make a transition to  a low carbon economy by 2050. The tactic of kicking it down the road is extremely disappointing. The Bill tries to create the illusion of change while the government carries on doing exactly what it was doing in the first place.
